We provide residential support that allows individuals with developmental disabilities to live in the most appropriate and least restrictive home environment, whether it is one of our congregate homes, in a family member’s house, or in their own apartment or home.
We know every situation is different, and we tailor our support based on each client’s Individual Service Plan (ISP). We always abide by the rules and regulations set by the DODD.
Group Homes/Congregate Setting
Guardians, parents, and family members of individuals with disabilities are often concerned about receiving services that are supportive, yet promote independence and a good quality of life. We make that possible, and can assist with making the transition successful.
We offer group homes in Summit County that integrate shelter, care, and services for developmentally disabled adults in our community. Each of our homes is carefully selected for easy access to shopping, transportation, banking, recreation, and spiritual enrichment.
Our group homes are just that – homes. We provide a safe environment that is relaxed, harmonious, and pleasant. There are comfortable couches and big screen TVs in the family rooms, and large tables for everyone to gather around for meals. The residents each have their own bedroom, which they decorate to reflect their personalities and interests.
We strive for complete satisfaction and provide consultation meetings to discuss and address all needs, issues, and concerns. We want our families and responsible parties to know their loved ones are comfortable, well cared for, and content.
Please contact us to set up an appointment to tour of one of our group homes, so you can see for yourself.
Private In-Home Care
Taking care of a loved one with disabilities is vitally important and rewarding, yet can be overwhelming and exhausting. In addition to our shared living group homes, we also offer private, in-home care for individuals who receive services. We will tailor care based on the individuals ISP and work with you and your team to provide the skilled and compassionate care your loved one deserves.
With the right kind of support, some adults with developmental disabilities are able to live in their own apartments or homes. To augment the concept of supported living and emphasize individual choice, Arbor Home Health Care, Inc. provides homemaking, personal care, and transportation to help these individuals lead safe and independent lives.
